Plastic Spoon Flower

I was talked into doing this one by Kylee, but I ended up really liking it.

obviously less of a rose and more of a different kind of flower, but I still like how it turned out. I got impatient near the end and didn't really follow the specifications for each spoon length...
I made another one I made with Hailee, with yellow spoons and a safety pin on back so she could turn it into a necklace I will get a picture of that one soon.

Mike's Bday Cake

For Mike's birthday I of course ran to Pintrest to get ideas for his cake.  I ended up at this website which I browsed through for quite a while.  Here is what I finally decided on.  I changed it up a bit and made a cake instead, less work I thought.  I still had fun layering it and adding my own touch to it.

Baby Shower Invites

I failed to mention that Emily, Suzanne, and I made these invites for Jill's baby shower.  Again....no real pictures so I had to use this one that we used as the example.  Just imagine blue and sporty instead of pink and girly.

Morning Breakfast

I made this yummy blueberry breakfast last Sunday and again tonight because I.... L O V E D it.

This was not the one I made, I might add.  I kept eating it before I could get a picture.   Talk about self control.  :)  No but seriously if you like blueberries this is a great, not too sweet but yet sweet, breakfast (or snack/dessert).

Cooking Pin Attempt

Outlet covers

My attempt at recreating this pin... Outlet covers with scrapbook paper and mod podge...

P.S. There's different sizes of outlet covers... I bought new covers that were smaller than those already in my apt so in this case there's a little hole that the new outlet cover didn't cover....

Headbands

I don't sew.  I don't own a sewing machine.  So when I found this pin I was so excited!

I made these for the Butler family photos.  There were fantastically easy and fun.

Christmas Cookies for Neighbor Giveaways

For my fellow apartment renters I made these amazing cookies.  I say amazing because they are both super easy, super tasty, and super feastive!  I pinned this pin which showed me the way.

I ran out of the right colored M&Ms so I had to made do with other colors.  It all tastes the same, come on.

My husband LOVED the tasty peanut butter taste.

Best Idea for a 1st yr Bday Party EVER!

From this pin I got this WONDERFUL idea.  For a first year birthday party print out a picture of each month of their first year and hang them up on a ribbon held by cloths pins with the number of month glued to the pin.

Seems like a lot of pictures but that is because it was for a twin birthday party.

Made these from a blog that I got from this pin.  I LOVE this blog.  She has such cute ideas and this one was soooo easy.  So easy in fact I made the pom poms for two different events.

Cafe Rio Burrito Copycat

Tonight I finally had enough time to try out this copycat recipe I got from Pinterest.  What a fun blog!  I mean talk about some great recipes and this one didn't disappoint.  It did take me awhile to do, but it was worth it.  I made the rice, beans, pork, and sauce.  The only thing lacking was homemade tortillas.  I just couldn't justify time for that one.  I should have taken pictures, but there was too much of a mess after I was done.  Just know it was yummy and I had to loosen my pants just a bit I ate so much :)
